Word of the Day!!!

Posted by ccasc on March 19, 2009

Today’s Word of the Day is tenacious.

Tenacious – adjective. Holding or tending to hold firmly; persistent; stubborn.

Here’s a sample sentence:

He defended his argument tenaciously and would not admit that he was wrong.

reminds me of Jack Black and Tenacious D. I am familiar with the term (and reminded of its definition thanks to YOU!, but I wonder about the D) I’ll do my research… 🙂
