Posted by ccasc on February 23, 2009
Monday, Monday! The end of the weekend (boo) but the start of a new week (yay)!
A new week means new Words of the Day!
I know that you’ve missed them over the weekend. Two whole days without any new vocabulary words … how did you survive? Oh goodness!
Well, here it is – the Word of the Day for Monday, February 23, 2009: Brouhaha.
Brouhaha – noun, public criticism or protest; a noisy commotion or uproar.
The brouhaha by the defiant students did not make the principal happy.
Tune in tomorrow for your next WORD OF THE DAY!
